My heartbeat's racing faster and faster
As I can feel theirs catching up.
The rhythm of my footsteps are drowned out
As theirs grow louder behind me.
You asked me to write about the bullying I've seen,
And I answer,
Not for mine,
But for the other kid's sake.
When viewed from the eyes of one who's not blind,
The bully is injured and the injured is fine.
The shove that I felt was aimed at his dad
Who came home drunk again.
He stole my lunch money to pay for his own lunch,
His brother stole his for drugs.
My homework he ruined was his favorite subject,
His mother calls h
